ICT Department

This is the home page for the ICT department at Pathways School
At Pathways School we recognise the importance of
ICT and encourage its use as a cross curricular tool.
During KS3 learners work towards achieving the skills that are detailed within the National Curriculum. These include building web pages and creating multimedia presentations. When learners enter KS4 they will have the opportunity to use their skills and knowledge to gain a variety of qualifications to include:
OCR Nationals Level 2, Entry Level Certificate, CLAIT diploma.
There is a dedicated ICT lab which contains 8 newly built computers all running Microsoft WindowsXp. We have a broad range of software including the complete Microsoft Office 2003 suite. All classrooms are equipped with computers to help encourage cross curricular ICT development. Pathways currently has 3 interactive whiteboards to help promote interesting and interactive learning. All computers have 8mb broadband internet access.
